Starting in December we will be doing book units! Our first unit will be on Amelia Bedelia. I am providing the students with copies of the book to read at home as well as at school. We are going to dive in to each book and look at it from all angles! Each week we will be exploring a different book and taking a reading counts quiz on it. The books will be getting progressively more difficult as the weeks continue. This week we will be exploring the different parts of a book, creating mini-books, drawing inferences from the title page only, working more on main idea, topic sentences, and beginning a story/paragraph.
